Teaching 8th grade science, we focus on astronomy. I never tire of teaching this subject. Doing astrophotography helps me continually learn more. Nothing compares to standing in the cool, quiet darkness, looking up to see just how small we are, and how vast the Universe is. Enjoy this gallery!

There is something magical about how the lights of a city capture us. This might be because humans do not see colors at night unless they are lit up. The camera captures these colors and, sometimes hypnotizing views. Enjoy these locations.

There is not much that is more perfect than a beautiful flower. Seductive attraction and single purpose all wrapped up in one little package. I enjoy capturing this beauty through my lens. I hope you enjoy them as well.

I enjoy seeing incredible natural habitats and the wildlife that inhabits them. We remember that we are visitors when we see natural views that can only be seen by getting outside. Enjoy these nature views.

Artistic patterns surround us. The camera collects these patterns that are made by only two things; shadows and light. Photography makes me look much differently and deeper at everyday views. What pattern is in there that I can capture.

I have am learning from my brother, Dan, the incomparable value of getting on the road, seeing what other locations have to offer, the foods there and, most importantly the people. This is a galley that I most look forward to expanding! Bon voyage!!

Animals are amazing. Their eyes tell a story. Living in Northern California, I am lucky to live near the Oakland Zoo, the Monterey Bay Aquarium, the California Academy of Sciences, and the incredible trails of the East Bay Regional Park District. On my visits, my camera is always at my side.
